Purchase and license
Codeck is a one-time $5 USD purchase, plus applicable tax, sold through Stripe Managed Payments. One purchase licenses the software to one purchaser for personal or business use on two active Mac installations they control. The purchase does not transfer ownership of the software, trademarks, or source code.
You may keep reasonable backup copies. You may not share or resell a license, redistribute Codeck, reverse engineer it for commercial replication, or present it as an official OpenAI or Anthropic product, except where applicable law expressly permits otherwise.
Activation and transfers
Initial activation requires internet. Codeck periodically verifies the license and permits up to 30 days offline after successful verification. Deactivate an old installation in Settings before moving to a third Mac. Contact support if the old Mac is unavailable. An invalid or disabled license, or an expired offline window, prevents use of paid features until resolved; local projects are not deleted.
Updates and availability
Your purchase includes all future Codeck updates that we release. There is no recurring fee. It does not promise any particular future feature or perpetual support. Support for obsolete macOS or provider versions may end when continued compatibility is impractical.
Third-party products and refunds
You remain responsible for your Codex, Claude, Apple, and payment-provider accounts and their terms. Codeck is independent of these services. We do not offer voluntary refunds; mandatory consumer rights and Stripe’s merchant-of-record policies still apply. Read the refund policy before purchasing.
Warranty and liability
Codeck is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, implied warranties are disclaimed and the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss. Any direct liability is limited to the amount paid for Codeck. Nothing here excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Independent product and governing law
Codeck is developed by Max Burleigh and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI or Anthropic. These terms are governed by the laws applicable where the developer resides, excluding conflict-of-law rules while preserving mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction. Material terms changes apply prospectively and carry an updated date.
